We all grew up reading, or watching, the classic story of Snow White. Now Hollywood has taken a new spin on the classic in the film titled Mirror, Mirror featuring the adorable Lily Collins as Snow White.

In the Feb/Mar issue of Justine, Collins explains that the film is different from the classic in that Snow White doesn’t need beauty or Prince Charming to save her. Actually, Prince Charming ends up needing Snow White’s help (That sounds more like it!).  If you can’t tell—this movie is all about girl power. Snow White grows into a confident young woman who makes decisions for herself and that is what drew Collins into the role in the first place. Collins has appeared in The Blind Side and Abduction and she is the daughter of famous singer Phil Collins. Obviously, this chick was on our radar before Mirror, Mirror, but she has now secured a spot as one of our favorites with this role as an independent princess.
